21 May VBS is June 9-13

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner!

This is one of my favorite times of the year and it involves children, parents, and a LOT of volunteers. The primary purpose of the week is to introduce children to Jesus Christ through singing, Bible reading, teaching, and with other Christians. 

Our children and young families are one of our greatest assets. FBC, through its Preschool and Children’s Committees work diligently to make sure that we provide a safe, Christian learning environment. Learning begins at a very early age and we encourage our leaders in classrooms to plan their age appropriate Bible Study programs so that the children are challenged to learn.

Intergenerational activities are planned for our children to help them understand the Mission Statement of our Church. They are actively involved in projects at Clinton Towers, Christmas and Thanksgiving basket preparation and “shoeboxes” for distribution overseas.

It takes a lot of work, preparation, and planning, and I’m extremely grateful for those who will part of it. There’s still time to register and you can find the link on the website homepage!
