Youth Ministry
Our Mission as a youth ministry is to be a Christ-like core where we become the hands and feet of Christ by reaching out to those in need, and growing in our love and knowledge of God.
The Youth Ministry at FBC is for grade levels 6-12. We have a very active and supportive Youth Committee that meets on a regular basis to help provide a support system for our youth, fun ideas, recreational outings, and opportunities for other youth in the community to come and feel welcome and safe here. There are currently 2 weekly events for youth:

- LifeGroups (Sunday) – 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
(Family Life Center, 2nd Floor) - Refuge and free supper (Wednesday) – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
(Family Life Center, 2nd Floor, Youth Room)
- LifeGroups (Sunday) – 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
*Refuge begins at 6:30 p.m.
Youth in this ministry have the opportunity to participate in all of the above activities and go on 2-3 retreats a school year that focus on being missional as a believer in Christ. Kris Hicks is the Youth Minister and leads youth in Refuge, and all of the retreats/outings that involve youth.
