We are always grateful to have guests with us. Some people are regular church attenders, others are seeking to reconnect with a church, while others are not Christians but are searching for meaning in life. Regardless of your spiritual condition, you are welcome to join us when we gather for worship. Some people dress more casual than others (jeans, t-shirt, polo) others more formal than others (business casual, jacket with or without tie).
The contemporary service meets in the Family Life Center on the gym floor. It is a more informal atmosphere as coffee and refreshments are available at the back table, and we sit around tables and in fold out chairs. Music is led by a Praise Team and we sing words from a projection screen. The best way to enter the FLC is through the main glass doors of the FLC building.
The traditional service meets in the Sanctuary. It is a bit more formal as people sit in pews and sing from hymnals. Music is led by Minister of Music and Adult Choir with piano and organ accompaniment. The best way to enter the Sanctuary is through the white doors facing Main Street under the white columns. The Sanctuary can also be reached via the Main Building glassed in foyer facing the FLC, then take the elevator to 2nd floor.
There is a Children’s Message in both worship services which offers a time for children to come to the front for a brief, personal time of instruction, typically from the Minister of Children. The Pastor preaches the same message in both worship services as well.
LifeGroups gather between the worship services. There is a small group for all ages; the groups are loosely age defined but anyone can participate in any group. It’s a good way to connect with other Christians, study the Bible, and get to know others in our church.
Wednesday nights offer opportunities for children, youth, and adults to gather for fellowship and spiritual formation. The Pastor usually leads adult Bible study or another minister on the church staff. The Adult Choir also rehearses in preparation for Sunday worship and upcoming special presentations.
